The most important aspect for receiving support in any circumstance or situation and for any person is having the ability to ask for it. The uncertainty of how a person will be received as he or she asks for help is often the primary reason for not asking that so important question.
Pat D recognizes the difficulties in this and acknowledges the person who is in this position. Pat’s ability to put the person at ease is one of his primary skills.
